So we went in this morning to the Picture People for Carson’s 1 year old photo shoot.  The plan was three outfit changes, and eating a cupcake in the last shots for his first birthday.  As any mother know, plans never work ut just how you think.  We managed to get two outfit changes in, and Carson did not want to pick up the cupcake at all!  He touched it a couple of times and held his hands out for Patrick to clean.  I managed to get him to eat a few bites of the frosting, as long as I held to his mouth.  After the lady was done taking pictures, I was sure that there was no way we had any good shots.  Boy was I surprised when she came out with the pictures she did!  Most of the shots are from the last outfit, as the khaki shorts outfit shoot, he just didn’t want to smile.  But we got a few cute ones from it, close ups.  We ended up using a coupon we got in the mail, a free 10×13 and 20% whatever else we buy.  We choice the 10 sheet package, which would normally be $135, but with the coupon, it was $108 and they upsold us on a deal that if we spent $150, we could get a free montage, framed and matted.  So we added 5 additional sheets at $8 a piece (after our coupon) in order to get our free framed and matted montage picture. All in all, I am still really impressed with the service we get from there, and between their staff and the prices, we will continue to go there for these quick milestone pictures.
